T8 UV-C fluorescent tube lamps have an average life of 8,000 hours if operated with electronic warmstart ballast. These UV-C radiators feature a special glass, which emits UVC range at a wavelength of 254 nm with high efficiency. The radiation of these fluorescent tubes does not generate ozone. Ideal applications of these fluorescent tubes are disinfection (deactivating microorganisms in water and air), radiating photopolymers, fluorescence effects and in photographic medicine and photographic biology.
